Week ahead: US PCE price data, Fedspeak in the spotlight

(Sharecast News) - The coming week will be back-end loaded with the interest rate outlook in the U.S. still very much front and centre on investors' minds. The key data point, barring surprises, will thus be the personal income and spending report for January due out on Thursday, due to the key price gauges that it contained.

Also worth noting, a raft of top Fed officials are scheduled to take to the podium starting from Wednesday.

Tuesday's session will bring with it a smattering of economic indicators in the States, including the durable goods report for that same month.

At the end of the week, on Friday, investors will be digesting final readings for S&P Global's factory sector purchasing managers' survey for the month of February in the UK, euro area and U.S..

Also on Friday, survey compiler Caixin will give investors a first view of its own factory PMI for China, while the ISM institute will do the same Stateside.

Across the Channel meanwhile, on Tuesday the European Central Bank will publish M3 money supply figures for January.

They will be followed on Friday by a preliminary reading for euro area consumer prices in February.
