FTSE 250 movers: Inchcape rallies; Dunelm goes ex-div

(Sharecast News) - London's FTSE 250 was down 0.4% at 16,807.08 in afternoon trade on Thursday.

Inchcape gained as the car dealership posted a jump in third-quarter revenue and reiterated its full-year guidance.

Chief executive Duncan Tait said: "We delivered continued momentum across APAC, supported by acquisitions, while our business in Europe and Africa performed well. In the Americas, we are gaining share in key markets and the integration of Derco remains on track."

Cyber security firm Darktrace rose as it unveiled a new cloud solution based on its unique self-learning AI.

The new solution provides comprehensive visibility of cloud architectures, real-time cloud-native threat detection and response, and prioritised recommendations and actions to help security teams manage misconfigurations and strengthen compliance, it said.

Homeware retailer Dunelm was down as it traded without entitlement to the dividend.
