Director dealings: DS Smith finance director invests, Mattioli Woods COO sells stake

(Sharecast News) - Key personnel from DS Smith and Mattioli Woods were on the list of director dealings on Friday after both companies made regulatory announcements. Richard Pike, the group finance director of packaging company DS Smith, invested in the firm by purchasing 88,715 of its shares.

According to the disclosure, Pike bought the shares on 12 October at a price of 283.5p, totalling an investment of £251,507.03.

The transaction took place on the London Stock Exchange.

On a parallel note, Iain McKenzie, chief operating officer of wealth and asset manager Mattioli Woods, sold shares following an exercise of options announced on 4 October.

The transaction, executed on 12 October, saw McKenzie sell 6,068 shares at a unit price of 523p, accumulating to £31,735.64.

After the transaction, McKenzie retained an interest of 12,089 shares, equivalent to a 0.02% stake in the company's issued share capital.

At 1625 BST, shares in DS Smith were down 0.74% at 280.7p, while those in Mattioli Woods were flat at 520p.
