Director dealings: Bytes Technology CEO makes share purchase

(Sharecast News) - Bytes Technology revealed on Tuesday that chief executive Neil Murphy had acquired 54,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed computer software firm. Murphy, who joined Bytes back in 1997, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of 554.90p each, for a total value of £299,648.15.

Following the transition, Murphy holds an interest in 2.89m ordinary Bytes shares, representing approximately 1.21% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1615 GMT, Bytes shares were down 0.82% at 547.0p.
