Director dealings: Two Pru directors invest, Smart Metering chair saves holding
(Sharecast News) - Prudential disclosed two purchases made by non-executive directors on Wednesday, landing itself on the list of director buys. The FTSE 100 insurer said Amy Yip bought 7,291 shares in London on Tuesday, paying 987.5p each for a total transaction value of £71,998.63.
On the same day, Jeanette Wong bought 9,600 shares in the Pru on the Hong Kong market, paying HKD 106.62 apiece.
That gave Wong's transaction a total value of HKD 110,460.26, or £10,783.23 at current exchange rates.
Smart Metering Systems, meanwhile, disclosed transactions made by two of its directors, with chief executive officer Tim Mortlock buying 12,717 shares in London on Tuesday for 729.04p each.
On the same day, non-executive chair Miriam Greenwood sold 2,111 shares for 719p each, and repurchased them for 720p apiece, in order to transfer them to her individual savings account (ISA).
Following the transactions, Smart Metering said Greenwood had an interest in 25,461 of its shares, representing 0.019% of its issued capital, while Mortlock had an interest in 21,202 shares, or 0.016% of its issued capital.
