Director dealings: Serco, Capita chiefs vest options; Strix non-exec invests

(Sharecast News) - Two outsourcing giants found themselves on the list of director sells on Wednesday, after their CEOs covered their costs and tax bills after exercising share options. Serco disclosed that chief executive officer Rupert Soames received 248,887 shares under its 2018 bonus plan.

It said 117,606 of those shares were then sold at 150.09p each, netting Soames £176,514.02 to cover the costs of his share bonus.

Capita, meanwhile, said its chief executive Jonathan Lewis exercised nil-cost options over 1,183,666 shares, granted under its long-term investment plan.

Lewis then sold 572,264 of the shares for 20.81p apiece, giving him £119,102.44 to cover his tax and national insurance liabilities.

On the buying side of things, kettle safety technology firm Strix Group disclosed that one of its non-executive directors had bought just under £25k worth of its shares.

The company said Mark Kirkland bought 11,425 shares at a price of 217.58p each, spending a total of £24,858.52 in the process.

Following the purchases, Strix said Kirkland was beneficially interested in a total of 20,135 of its shares.
