Director dealings: Senior board member buys £26k of Kingfisher shares

(Sharecast News) - B&Q owner Kingfisher was on the list of buys on Wednesday, after its senior independent director spent more than £26k on shares. The FTSE 100 retailer said Catherine Bradley bought 10,000 shares in an open market transaction on Tuesday.

Bradley paid 261.7p for each share, spending a total of £26,170 on the transaction.

Following the purchase, Kingfisher said Bradley's total beneficial interest in the company consisted of 20,000 shares.

Elsewhere, Chamberlin disclosed a series of purchases made by an executive director valued at just under £17k.

The AIM-traded firm said that between 3 June and 7 June, Trevor Brown bought 350,000 shares across four transactions.

It said the largest saw Brown purchase 150,000 shares for 4.94p each, valuing it at £7,410, while the next was for 100,000 shares at 4.7p apiece, for a total of £4,700.

The third transaction was worth £2,400 for 50,000 shares at a price of 4.8p, and the final tranche was 50,000 shares at 4.7p each, for a total of £2,350.

After the purchases, Chamberlin said Brown's beneficial interest in the company totalled 29,525,000 shares, or 27.95% of its issued capital.
