Director dealings: Savannah non-exec invests, Lok'nStore director sells holding
(Sharecast News) - Lithium developer Savannah Resources was on the list of director buys on Friday, after a non-executive director picked up almost half a million shares. The company said Mary Jo Jacobi purchased 480,900 shares on 20 July, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.
Jacobi paid 4.6523p for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of £22,372.91.
"Following this acquisition, Ms Jacobi has a total beneficial interest in 480,900 ordinary shares, representing 0.03% of the company's issued share capital," Savannah said in its disclosure.
On the selling side of the ledger, Lok'nStore Group disclosed a sale made by a non-executive director for tax purposes.
The company said it was notified on 20 July that non-executive director Charles Peal had, as part of his personal tax planning, sold 267,049 shares from his self-invested pension plan (SIPP) at a price of 769.68p each.
It said the proceeds would be distributed, and thus liable to income tax.
Lok'nStore said Peal intended, subject to market conditions, to re-invest the majority of the post-tax net proceeds into shares in due course.
"As a result of this sale, Mr Peal's beneficial interest in the company amounts to 499,301 ordinary shares representing 1.52% of the company's total voting rights," the firm said.
At 1610 BST, shares in Lok'nStore Group were down 1.25% at 790p, while those in Savannah Resources were up 0.88% at 4.59p.
