Director dealings: HSBC execs spend almost £0.5m, UKCP REIT director invests
(Sharecast News) - HSBC was at the top of the list of director buys on Wednesday, after two of its executives purchased shares under its 2011 share plan. The FTSE 100 Anglo-Asian banking giant said group chief executive officer Noel Quinn picked up 50,080 shares, while group chief financial officer Georges Elhedery added 31,962 shares to his holding.
Both transactions, which took place on 15 May, were at a price of 599.7p per share.
That valued Quinn's investment at £300,329.76, and Elhedery's at a total of £191,676.11.
Elsewhere, a non-executive director of UK Commercial Property REIT spent almost £20k on her latest investment into the company.
The firm said Fionnuala Hogan bought 37,827 shares in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange, on 11 May.
Hogan paid 52.74p for each share, giving the investment a total value of £19,948.82.
At 1503 BST, shares in HSBC Holdings were down 0.31% at 603.8p, while those in UK Commercial Property REIT were up 1.86% at 55.92p.
