Director dealings: PayPoint, Redcentric disclose director purchases
(Sharecast News) - Two significant director purchases were disclosed to the market on Monday, shedding light on transactions involving key personnel in PayPoint and Redcentric. Nick Wiles, chief executive officer of PayPoint, engaged in a market purchase.
Wiles acquired 50,000 shares at a price of 463.865p per share, resulting in a total transaction value of £231,932.50.
The transaction took place on 11 December in London.
Elsewhere, IT managed services provider Redcentric received notification from Kestrel Partners regarding a significant purchase of ordinary shares.
On behalf of its discretionary client accounts, Kestrel Partners acquired 55,945 shares at an average price of 126.76p apiece, on 8 December on the AIM market.
Oliver Scott, a non-executive director of Redcentric, holds a beneficial interest in Kestrel Partners and is a shareholder in Kestrel Opportunities.
As a result, he is deemed to have a beneficial interest in Kestrel Opportunities' entire legal holding in Redcentric.
Following the transaction, Kestrel Opportunities now held 16,402,618 shares in Redcentric, and other clients of Kestrel, in which Scott has no beneficial interest, held 15,377,632 of its shares.
Collectively, Kestrel indirectly possessed voting rights over 31,780,250 shares in Redcentric, equating to about 20.33% of the total voting rights in the company.
