Director dealings: Speedy Hire chairman, CFO snap up shares

(Sharecast News) - Speedy Hire revealed on Tuesday that chief financial officer Paul Rayner had acquired 71,500 ordinary shares in the tools and equipment hire group. Rayner, who was appointed to the board of Speedy Hire in July 2023, purchased the shares at an average price of 28.65p each, for a total value of £20,482.96.

Claire and Robert Rayner, PCAs of Paul Rayner, also snapped up shares on Tuesday, with the former purchasing 13,500 ordinary shares and the latter picking up 5,000 shares.

Speedy Hire chairman David Shearer also purchased 250,000 ordinary shares on Tuesday, for a total of £69,954, while non-executive director Shatish Dasani bought 10,500 shares for £2,868, and Dina Dasani, a PCA of Shatish, dropped £13,761 on 49,500 shares.

As of 1520 BST, Speedy Hire shares were down 0.17% at 28.65p.
