Director dealings: Pantheon, Abrdn directors pick up market shares

(Sharecast News) - Pantheon Resources was on the list of director buys on Wednesday, after its executive chairman picked up one million shares. The AIM-traded firm said David Hobbs bought 1,000,000 shares on 29 August, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.

It said Hobbs paid an average price of 16.411p for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of £164,110.

Following the purchase, the company said Hobbs' beneficial ownership had increased to 2,717,229 shares, representing 0.3% of its total voting rights.

Elsewhere on the buying side of the ledger was Abrdn, after a non-executive director bought almost 25,000 shares across two transactions in London on 30 August.

In the first transaction, the company said John Devine bought 15,319 shares for 163.19p, while in the second he picked up 9,195 shares for 163.13p apiece.

That made for a total of 24,514 shares at an average price of 163.2p each, valuing the transactions at an aggregate of £40,006.85.

At 1623 BST, shares in Pantheon Resources were up 5.45% at 18.03p, while those in Abrdn were down 0.24% at 163.55p.
