Director dealings: Hill & Smith director buys some shares following results

(Sharecast News) - Hill & Smith non-executive director Carol Chesney picked up some shares in the manufacturer of safety barriers. Chesney acquired her 1,054 new shares on 14 March, at approximately 1,887p apiece, for a total transaction amount of £19,884.97.

Two days before that purchase, the company had reported a one-fifth jump in its full-year underlying profit.

In the wake of the results, analysts at Berenberg reiterated their 'buy' recommendation and 2,500p target price.

"With the divisional reporting structure realigned to focus more on the geographic reporting lines, it seems likely that the business will increasingly shift towards areas with higher growth," they said.

"In our view, this could lead to further disposals from lower-return areas and potentially more frequent or larger acquisitions in growth areas."
