Wednesday preview: US tech earnings, Russia-Ukraine talks in focus
(Sharecast News) - Financial markets are likely to be in a holding pattern throughout Wednesday's session, as investors wait for quarterly earnings report out of US tech giants Alphabet and Tesla which are due out after the close. They will also be keeping close tabs on the headlines coming out of the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul.
Unfortunately, both sides still seem far apart.
Against that backdrop, at 1400 BST the National Association of Realtors will release existing home sales data covering the month of June.
At 1700 BST the US Treasury will auction 20-year debt.
