Important information - the value of investments and the income from them, can go down as well as up, so you may get back less than you invest.

For the second month in a row Scottish Mortgage has failed to make the top spot in the table of investment trusts most bought by Fidelity Personal Investing customers. The technology trust, one of Britain’s largest, had been the most popular among our customers in the first half of the year and took the number one spot in January, February, March and April. But in June it was in an unchanged second position.

The top spot was taken by Fidelity Special Values, which jumped from sixth place in May.

F&C, which like Scottish Mortgage invests globally, was in third place last month, up from ninth, followed by City of London, which focuses on London-listed companies that pay generous dividends. It was placed third in May. Allianz Technology was down one place in fifth position last month.
Next came Fidelity China Special Situations, up from seventh place, then JPMorgan Global Growth & Income, up from eighth.

International Public Partnerships took eighth spot in June, down from fifth, and SDCL Efficiency Income was a new entry at ninth; JPMorgan European Growth & Income, in 10th place in May, left the top 10 to make way for it. Fidelity European brought up the rear; it had been in first place in May.
