FTSE 250 movers: Clarkson surges on results

Shipping services group Clarkson surged after saying it expects full-year results "materially ahead" of market forecasts following a record first-half profit as it benefited from the volatility caused by disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.

Airlines were higher amid the prospect of lower fuel costs, with Wizz Air up.
