Driector dealings: Kelso Group CEO invests, AO World chief's foundation sells
(Sharecast News) - Two director-related share transactions disclosed on London's markets on Friday involved insiders at listed acquisition vehicle Kelso Group, and online appliances retailer AO World. Kelso Group said the Freelands Pension Trust, whose sole beneficiary is chief executive officer John Goold, acquired 2,773,130 ordinary shares in the company at 2.15p each on 15 May.
That represented 0.7% of Kelso's issued share capital.
The purchase increased Goold's total beneficial holding to 44,689,796 shares, or 12% of the company's share capital.
AO World meanwhile reported that the Jolly Foundation, a registered charity associated with CEO John Roberts, sold a total of 600,000 shares over three days - 75,000 on 13 May, 175,000 on 14 May, and 350,000 on 15 May - each at a price of 95p per share.
Following the transactions, the Jolly Foundation retained 4,047,115 shares in AO World.
At 1613 BST, shares in Kelso Group Holdings were up 12.79% at 2.43p, while those in AO World were off 0.1% at 99p.
