Director dealings: UP Global Sourcing directors make big purchases

(Sharecast News) - UP Global Sourcing was in the red on Monday, after two of its directors made some big share purchases. The company, which trades as Ultimate Products, said non-executive director Robbie Bell bought 100,000 shares on 1 September.

Bell paid 119.7p for each share, valuing the transaction at £119,700.

At the same time, chairman James McCarthy purchased 65,000 shares for 119.7p apiece, spending a total of £77,805.

Following the purchase, UP said McCarthy had a beneficial interest in 1,000,000 of its shares, representing 1.1% of its issued share capital, while Bell's total interest stood at 502,144 shares, or 0.6% of its issued capital.

At 1148 BST, shares in UP Global Sourcing Holdings were down 4.68% at 112p.
