Director dealings: Town Centre exec, Beazley directors disclose trades
(Sharecast News) - Among the insider dealings disclosed to the market in London on Thursday, Town Centre Securities executive director Ben Ziff sold and immediately repurchased shares as part of personal estate planning, while Beazley directors Paul Bantick and Adrian Cox exercised or vested share awards and sold stock to cover tax obligations. Town Centre Securities said Ziff sold 120,500 ordinary shares on 20 May at 115p each and immediately bought back the same number of shares at the same price.
The matched transactions, carried out outside a trading venue, each had a value of £138,575.
The company said Ziff's holding remained unchanged at 783,638 shares, representing 1.9% of its issued share capital.
The Ziff Concert Party's holding also remained unchanged at 56.6% of the total issued share capital.
Separately, Beazley said director Paul Bantick exercised 105,517 nil-cost options under the insurer's long-term incentive plan, relating to awards granted on 19 May 2023.
He sold 49,718 shares at 1,279.399p each on the London Stock Exchange to satisfy tax and national insurance contributions, raising about £636,092.
Beazley also said director Adrian Cox had 32,307 deferred share awards vest under the company's deferred share plan, also relating to 19 May 2023 awards.
Cox sold 15,223 shares at the same price to meet tax and national insurance liabilities, raising about £194,763.
At 1246 BST, shares in Town Centre Securities were down 8.06% at 114p, while those in Beazley were off 0.08% at 1,281p.
