Director dealings: Midwich managing director raises stake
(Sharecast News) - Midwich Group revealed on Monday that managing director Stephen Fenby had acquired 50,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed audio-visual distributor. Fenby, who joined Midwich in 2004, purchased the shares on Friday at an average price of 375.77p each, for a total value of £187,885.
Following the transaction, Fenby and persons closely associated to him have an interest in 17.38m ordinary Midwich shares, representing approximately 16.68% of the company's issued share capital.
In September, Midwich Group reported a robust first-half financial performance, even amid challenging market conditions. Midwich said revenue for the six months ended 30 June increased 7.4% to £610.4m, up from £568.4m in the same period last year.
As of 1600 GMT, Midwich shares were up 4.26% at 392.0p.
