Director dealings: Gemsstock buys more BGEO shares, Jupiter CFO covers tax bill
(Sharecast News) - Bank of Georgia Group had multiple entries on Wednesday's list of buyers, after a company connected to one of its directors picked up four more tranches of shares. The London-listed bank said Gemsstock Limited, which is connected to its director Alasdair Breach, bought 150,000 shares at 1,279p each for a total of £1,918.499.99 m in the first transaction.
It said the second saw Gemsstock buy 65,838 shares at 1,281p for £843,384.81, and the third was a purchase of 50,000 shares at 1,344p apiece for a total value of £671,999.98.
The fourth and final purchase disclosed on Wednesday was for 10,000 shares at 1,272p each, for a total of £127,200.
All four purchases were at a premium to Bank of Georgia's market price, which was down 0.82% at 1,214p at 1603 GMT.
On the selling side of things, Jupiter Fund Management reported a share sale made by its chief financial officer, to cover his tax bill after the exercise of a number of share options.
The FTSE 250 company said Wayne Mepham had exercised options over 22,989 shares, and subsequently sold 11,181 at 206.1p each.
That netted Mepham £23,044.04 to cover his liability to the taxman.
The sale was at a decent premium to Jupiter's trading price on Wednesday afternoon, which was up 0.1% at 1606 GMT at 202.2p.
