Director dealings: Franchise Brands co-founder raises stake

(Sharecast News) - Franchise Brands revealed on Thursday that non-executive director Nigel Wray had acquired 50,000 ordinary shares in the multi-brand franchisor. Wray, who co-founded Franchise Brands in 2008, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 120p each, for a total value of £60,000.

Following the transaction, Wray holds a beneficial interest in 16.07m ordinary Franchise Brands shares, representing approximately 8.29% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1505 BST, Franchise Brands shares were up 0.85% at 119p.
