Director dealings: Capita CFO invests, Ninety One directors linked to trust's purchase
(Sharecast News) - Capita was at the top of the list of director purchases on Thursday, after its chief financial officer picked up more than half a million shares. The FTSE 250 company said Tim Weller purchased 539,176 shares on 6 September, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.
Weller paid 16.6089p for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of £89,551.20.
Elsewhere, Ninety One disclosed the purchase of 60,000 shares by an entity linked to a number of its directors.
It said Forty Two Point Two bought 10,000 shares at 170p each, for a total value of £17,000, and 50,000 shares for 168p apiece, valuing the second transaction at £84,000.
The first transaction took place on 4 September, and the second on 6 September, with both occurring on the London Stock Exchange.
In its disclosure, Ninety One said Forty Two Point Two is wholly owned by the Marathon Trust, which counts six of the group's directors as beneficiaries.
Those directors are Hendrik du Toit and Kim McFarland of Ninety One, Johan Schreuder and Cora Kielblock of Ninety One Assurance, and Adam Fletcher and David McGillveray of Ninety One Guernsey.
At 1539 BST, shares in Capita were down 2.11% at 16.28p, while those in Ninety One Group were off 1.18% at 167.8p.
