Director dealings: AJ Bell directors invest in company's shares
(Sharecast News) - Investment platform operator and stockbroker AJ Bell made a number of disclosures to the market on Wednesday, after purchases were made by two of its directors. The FTSE 250 company said Billy Mackay, managing director of AJ Bell Investcentre, purchased 34,907 shares via his self-invested pension plan (SIPP) for 286.47p each.
He also purchased 8,767 shares via his individual savings account (ISA) for 285.15p apiece.
At the same time, his 'close associate' Lynda Mackay purchased 8,741 shares for 285.98p each via her ISA.
Following the transactions, which took place on Tuesday, AJ Bell said Billy Mackay had an interest in 1,540,624 of its shares, representing 0.375% of its issued capital.
In a separate disclosure, AJ Bell said non-executive director Evelyn Bourke purchased 52,297 shares via her dealing account.
Bourke paid 286.82p for each share, spending a total of £149,999.83.
Following the transaction, which also occurred on Tuesday, AJ Bell said Bourke had an interest in 85,297 of its shares, representing 0.021% of its issued capital.
