Kingspan reports record 2025 as data centre demand surges

(Sharecast News) - Full-year results from Kingspan impressed investors on Friday as the Ireland-based insulation and building materials group reported record revenues, as strong demand for data centre infrastructure offset weaker trading in the industrial and residential markets. Revenues totalled €9.20bn, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation came to €1.22bn - both up 7% over the year and all-time highs for the group.

Sales in the panels division, Insulated Building Envelopes, rose 6% though this was mainly as a result of acquisitions. However, global insulated panel backlog volumes at the year-end were up 8%, similar to order intake so far in 2026.

Meanwhile, sales in the Advnsys arm, which provides critical infrastructure primarily focused on data centres, ventilation, and daylighting, were up 12% as a result of strong tech sector activity.

The Advnsys backlog was up 24% at year-end, while order intake for 2026 is double that of last year, with an "extraordinary pipeline", the company said, as it ramps up manufacturing capacity in the US, Middle East and Asia.

"Similar to recent years, the general trading environment in global construction markets varies widely, with the Tech sector performing strongly worldwide and general construction activity in Continental Europe low but steady," said chief executive Gene Murtagh.

"Strong Tech and Data activity is helping offset the impact of softer industrial and residential markets for a robust overall performance. We anticipate our foreseeable future growth to exceed that of recent years."

Kingspan shares were up 3.75% at €87.15 by midday GMT.
