Yes, Pay by Bank is highly secure. It uses the highest level of security standards, Strong Customer Authentication (e.g. FaceID or a fingerprint), and encryption.
Tink, a Visa solution, is the third-party provider we partner with to offer Pay by Bank. They're regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You can find more information about them on the Tink website.
No registration is required to use Pay by Bank. As long as you have an online banking account with a supported bank, you can use Pay by Bank immediately.
Pay by Bank is supported by a wide range of banks. When processing your payment, you’ll see a list of supported banks. If your bank is listed, you can proceed with the payment.
If your bank isn’t listed, you won’t be able to use Pay by Bank for that particular transaction. You can choose another payment method provided.
Payment limits depend on your bank's policies, your bank account settings, and Tink's policies. Generally, these limits match those for other online banking transactions. Check with your bank if you're unsure about your transaction limits.
