Director dealings: Kelso, Coats Group executives increase holdings

(Sharecast News) - Two of the London-listed companies disclosing director share purchases on Friday included executives at Kelso Group and Coats Group. At Kelso, chief executive officer John Goold increased his beneficial holding through the Freelands Pension Trust, which acquired 846,971 shares at 2.5p each.

The purchase, notified on 22 May, raised Goold's total beneficial interest to 45.5 million shares, or 12.1% of the company's issued share capital.

Meanwhile, Coats Group chief financial officer and executive director Hannah Nichols bought 26,092 shares at an average price of 76.26p, for a total consideration of £19,899.

The transaction, also conducted on 22 May, was executed on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market.

At 1505 BST, shares in Kelso Group Holdings were up 9.76% at 2.69p, while those in Coats Group were ahead 0.13% at 76p.
