Tom Stevenson

Investment director

Tom Stevenson is an Investment Director at Fidelity International, specialising in market strategy, macro-economics, fund selection and retirement planning. He writes a weekly column on the markets for The Telegraph, where he worked prior to joining Fidelity in 2008. He is an experienced broadcaster and podcaster, with appearances on the BBC, Sky, Bloomberg and CNBC, as well as regular contributions to Fidelity’s popular You Tube show, The Personal Investor.

With more than 35 years investment experience, Tom is highly regarded for his ability to explain complex economic and investment topics in an accessible and approachable manner. As well as his written and video output, he speaks regularly to audiences of investors at Fidelity and at external events.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Tom pursued a successful career in financial journalism, working at Investors Chronicle and The Independent. Outside of work, he enjoys sport, travel, food and wine, and languages.
