Man Group rises after boosting Japanese partnership, Trustpilot falls amid compliance worries

(Sharecast News) - London's FTSE 250 was up 0.92% at 24,459.99 in afternoon trade on Monday. Man Group traded higher on news that it was to expand its strategic relationship with Meiji Yasuda Insurance Company, nearly two years after first announcing the partnership. The Japanese insurer has agreed to increase its capital commitment to the British firm's investment strategies to ¥200bn (£940m) over the next three years, with a particular focus on private credit. The two companies, who first announced the partnership in February 2025, will also work together to develop new products for the Japanese market.

Domino's was also higher, helped by sector‑level tailwinds as defensive consumer names outperformed as investors rotated into steadier earnings streams ahead of this week's central‑bank decisions, while NCC benefited from a broader bid for cybersecurity shares, with the sector tracking gains in US peers as markets positioned for upbeat hyperscaler capex commentary from big tech earnings slated for later in the week.

On the other hand, Trustpilot was in the red amid lingering concerns over governance and compliance issues, while CVS Health traded lower on continued worries about soft underlying growth and regulatory overhangs, and Ashmore lost ground due to ongoing concerns over earnings quality and weak fee‑generating performance.
