FTSE 250 movers: Oil stocks make gains

(Sharecast News) - FTSE 250: 18,738.35, up 1.04% at 1400 GMT. There was little corporate news to drive trade on Wednesday in the lead-up to Christmas.

Commodity stocks gained on a rise in prices, with Tullow Oil, Harbour Energy, and Energean and Hochschild Mining all up.
