FTSE 250 movers: Future, Asos pace gains

(Sharecast News) - Shares in media outfit Future paced gains on the second-tier index with traders pushing them closer towards technical resistance around the 2,000.0p level. Gains in Asos also appeared to be technically driven as its shares bounced off the lows plumbed in early 2020.

Aston Martin Lagonda was also bouncing back, likely on the coattails of a Sky News report that McLaren Group was putting the finishing touches on a £100m cash call as it looks to roll out its newest supercar models.

Centamin was also among the top gainers following the release of its second quarter gold production report.
