FTSE 100 movers: Miners gain on stronger metals prices

(Sharecast News) - FTSE 100: 7,473.01, up 0.05% at 1440 GMT.

Markets were flat in London on a half-day of pre-Christmas trade. There was next-to-no corporate news to drive sentiment.

Anglo American and Rio Tinto gained on higher gold prices.
