Directors dealings: Close Brothers Group non-exec picks up some shares
(Sharecast News) - Sally Williams, a non-executive director at Close Brothers Group, picked up some shares in the UK merchant banking group. According to Close Brothers, on 22 March the director bought 1,062 shares at roughly. 412.12p each, for a total transaction amount of £4,376.58
Three days before the firm had unveiled a panoply of measures meant to bolster its capital position amid an ongoing review by the Financial Conduct Authority into motor finance.
All told, those measures were expected to boost its CET1 capital ratio by up to £400m by the end of 2025.
In the wake of those measures, analysts at Berenberg lifted their target price for shares of Close Brothers Group from 425.0p to 470.0p.
"We maintain our 'buy' rating, but acknowledge risks may be too great to bear for many investors."
