Director dealings: Wizz Air commercial chief linked to £73k purchase

(Sharecast News) - Wizz Air was among a sparse list of director dealings on Friday, after its chief commercial officer was linked to a share purchase worth over £70k. The central and eastern Europe-focussed low-cost airline said Edward Walsh bought 4,430 shares on Wednesday, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.

Walsh paid 1,658p for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of £73,449.40.

Wizz said Walsh is a "person closely associated with" its chief commercial officer Yvonne Moynihan.

At 1348 GMT, shares in Wizz Air Holdings were up 0.8% at 1,837p.
