(Sharecast News) - Premier Inn owner Whitbread was among those disclosing director buys on Tuesday, after an independent non-executive director made a purchase.
The FTSE 100 company said Karen Jones picked up 900 shares on 15 August, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.
Jones paid 3,471p for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of £31,239.00.
Elsewhere, Ibstock reported a large sale of shares by its chief financial officer, after he exercised a number of vested awards.
The brick specialist said Chris McLeish received 101,416 shares at nil cost on the exercise of vested awards under its long-term incentive plan.
McLeish then sold 90,364 shares to cover the income tax and National Insurance due on the award of the shares.
The CFO received 154.2p for each share, valuing the sale at £139,341.29.
At the close on Tuesday, shares in Whitbread were down 0.68% at 3,498p, while those in Ibstock were 0.52% weaker at 153.4p.
