(Sharecast News) - Vistry Group was in the red on Wednesday afternoon, after a share purchase worth almost £2.8m was linked to its chief executive officer.
The FTSE 250 housebuilder said Baker Estates Limited bought 500,000 shares on Tuesday, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.
It paid 557.07p for each share, valuing the purchase at £2,785,330.06.
Baker Estates is a residential developer of which Vistry CEO Greg Fitzgerald is a director, who also owns between 25% and 50% of its share capital according to Companies House filings.
At 1419 BST, shares in Vistry Group were down 1.95% at 553.5p.
