Director dealings: Sabre chair, CEO invest after trading update

(Sharecast News) - Sabre Insurance had two entries on the list of director buys on Tuesday, after both its CEO and chair invested in its shares. The company said its chief executive officer Geoff Carter had purchased 9,378 of its shares at an average price of 105.57p each, spending a total of £9,900.35.

Following the transaction, Sabre said Mr and Mrs Carter confirmed they held 1,600,543 of its shares, representing 0.64% of its issued share capital.

Its chair Andy Pomfret, meanwhile, purchased 93,000 of its shares for an average price of 105.30p apiece, valuing the transaction at £97,929.00.

Following the purchase, Sabre said Mr and Mrs Pomfret confirmed they held 174,278 of its shares, representing 0.07% of its issued capital.

The disclosures came after Sabre reported a fall in first-half profit on Tuesday morning, but expressed confidence in recovering from that going forward.
