Director dealings: Plus500 COO raises stake, Supreme CEO sells shares
(Sharecast News) - Plus500 revealed on Tuesday that chief operating officer Alon Naznin had acquired 32,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed fintech firm. Naznin, who took over as COO in 2020, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of £33.03 each, for a total value of £1.05m.
Naznin's share purchase comes a day after Plus500 announced that it had been appointed clearing partner for CME Group and FanDuel's new event‑based contracts platform. Plus 500 will provide brokerage execution and clearing services for FanDuel Prediction Markets, a non‑clearing Futures Commission Merchant and joint venture between CME and FanDuel, part of Flutter Entertainment.
Elsewhere, Supreme chief executive Sandy Chadha disposed of 2.0m ordinary shares at an average price of 156p each, for a total of £3.11m.
Following the disposal, Chadha holds a beneficial interest in 63.66m ordinary Supreme shares, representing approximately 54.27% of the AIM-listed consumer goods manufacturer's issued share capital.
As of 1530 GMT, Plus500 shares were down 0.89% at 3,350p, while Supreme shares were 0.47% higher at 158.75p.
