Director dealings: Petra Diamonds chairman raises stake
(Sharecast News) - Petra Diamonds revealed on Thursday that non-executive chairman José Manuel Vargas had acquired 343,139 ordinary shares in the London-listed miner. Vargas, who took over as chairman in 2024, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 25.92p each, for a total value of £88,941.63.
Following the purchase, Vargas holds a beneficial interest in 22.45m ordinary Petra shares, representing approximately 11.56% of the company's issued share capital.
As of 1615 GMT, Petra Diamonds shares were up 11.36% at 28.40p.
