(Sharecast News) - Two major retailers were on the list of director buys on Thursday, with both Kingfisher and Currys disclosing large purchases made by board members.
B&Q owner Kingfisher said its non-executive director Bill Lennie picked up 70,000 shares in a single transaction in London on 5 July.
Lennie paid 227.7777p for each share, valuing the purchase at £159,444.39.
Following the transaction, Kingfisher said Lennie's total holding now consisted of 170,000 of its ordinary shares.
Electricals retailer Currys, meanwhile, said its chief financial officer Bruce March added 65,000 shares to his holding.
March bought the shares in a single transaction in London on 6 July, and paid 46.694p apiece.
At 1616 BST, shares in Kingfisher were down 4.35% at 217.9p, while those in Currys were 10.28% weaker at 47.96p.
