Director dealings: Finance chiefs buy shares at Eden Research, Seen

(Sharecast News) - Eden Research was among the companies disclosing a director purchase on Tuesday, after its chief financial officer spent just under £15k on shares. The AIM-traded company, which specialises in biopesticides and plastic-free formulations for use in crop protection, animal health and consumer products, said Alex Abrey purchased 317,522 shares at a price of 4.72p per share, valuing the purchase at £14,987.04.

Following the transaction, it said Abrey's interest in the company was 1,620,346 shares, representing 0.43% of its issued capital.

The disclosure was made on the same day Eden Research released its preliminary results for 2021, with revenue falling to £1.2m from £1.4m year-on-year, and adjusted EBITDA losses widening to £2m from £1.5m.

Elsewhere, video content technology specialist Seen also reported a share purchase made by its finance chief, worth £12.5k.

The AIM-traded company said CFO Adrian Hargrave bought 125,000 shares for 10p apiece, spending a total of £12,500.

Following the transaction, Seen said Hargrave held 125,000 of its shares, representing 0.25% of its issued share capital.

The company also said in its disclosure that it would publish and post its annual reports and accounts for 2021 on 30 June.
