Director dealings: EKF chair invests, Hilton Food CEO sells option shares

(Sharecast News) - EKF Diagnostics was on the list of director buys on Tuesday, after its chairman was involved in a purchase of almost £0.45m of its shares. The AIM-traded firm said funds connected to non-executive chair Christopher Mills purchased 1,275,000 of its shares last Thursday, for 35p each, spending a total of £446,249.99.

Following the purchase, EKF said Mills' total direct and indirect interest in the company was 132,150,000 shares, representing 29.04% of its total voting rights.

On the selling side of the ledger was Hilton Food Group, whose chief executive officer exercised and sold a tranche of long-term incentive plan shares.

The FTSE 250 company said Philip Heffer exercised options over the sale of 48,873 shares.

It said he sold them for 1,216p each, netting him a total of £594,295.67.
