(Sharecast News) - Checkit revealed on Thursday that chairman Keith Daley had acquired 250,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed software and solutions business.
Daley, who took over as chairman in 2008, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 19.0p each, for a total value of £47,500.
Following the transaction, Daley's total beneficial interest in the company sits at 21.42m ordinary Checkout shares, representing approximately 19.84% of the company's total issued share capital.
As of 1625 GMT, Checkit shares were up 8.95% at 20.70p.
