(Sharecast News) - Cake Box was trading in the green on Wednesday afternoon, after it disclosed a purchase worth over £0.2m made by its chief executive officer.
The egg-free baked confection specialist said Sukh Chamdal bought 150,000 shares in an open market transaction on the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
He paid 139p for each share, valuing the purchase at £208,500.
Following the purchase, Cake Box said Chamdal was beneficially interested in 10,162,915 of its shares, representing about 25.4% of its issued capital.
At 1539 BST, shares in Cake Box Holdings were up 1.09% at 139p.
