Director dealings: Bytes Technology CEO raises stake

(Sharecast News) - Bytes Technology Group revealed on Monday that chief executive Neil Murphy had acquired 44,483 shares in the FTSE 250-listed group. Murphy, who joined Bytes as the firm's sales director back in 1997, purchased the shares on Friday across six separate transactions at an average price of 380.11p each, for a total value of £169,082.

Following the transaction, Murphy has a beneficial holding of 3.73m ordinary shares in Bytes Technology, representing 1.56% of the ordinary issued share capital of the company.

As of 1550 GMT, Bytes shares were up 3.47% at 399.81p.
