Director dealings: BT non-exec, Aquila Services chair buy shares

(Sharecast News) - BT Group was on the list of director purchases on Friday, after a non-executive director picked up almost $0.1m worth of shares. The telecoms giant said Maggie Chan Jones bought 70,000 of its shares on 23 August, in a single transaction in New York.

Jones paid $1.42 for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of $99,400.00 (£78,919.62).

Elsewhere, housing and community support service specialist Aquila Services Group disclosed a big purchase made by its chair.

It said Derek Joseph bought 100,000 shares in 24 August, in a single transaction outside of a trading venue.

Joseph paid 20p for each share, valuing the investment at £20,000.

"As a result of the dealings set out above, Joseph is now interested in 3,645,408 ordinary shares, representing 9.12% of the company's existing share capital," the Aquila Services board said in its statement.

At 1459 BST, shares in BT Group were down 0.13% at 112.55p, while those in Aquila Services Group were flat.
