(Sharecast News) - Aston Martin Lagonda was in the green on Friday afternoon, after two of its board members were involved in large share purchases.
The luxury carmaker said the British Virgin Islands-domiciled Yew Tree Overseas bought 287,500 shares on Tuesday for 138.4469p each, valuing the purchase at £398,034.84.
On Wednesday, Yew Tree Overseas picked up another 11,985 shares at a price of 141.1197p apiece, making that transaction worth £16,917.13.
Aston Martin said Yew Tree Overseas is an 'associated person' of its executive chairman Lawrence Stroll under the regulations.
At the same time, the firm said the Swiss-incorporated Saint James Invest bought 95,000 shares on Tuesday for 138.4469p each, for a total of £131,524.56.
Following that on Wednesday, St James Invest added 3,960 shares to its holding at a price of 141.1497p, for a transaction value of £5,590.01.
According to Aston Martin, Saint James Invest is regulatorily associated with non-executive director Michael de Picciotto.
At 1524 GMT, shares in Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings were up 4.23% at 156.35p.
