Director dealings: Asos board members buy in after update

(Sharecast News) - Asos found itself with several entries on the list of director buys on Friday, after three of its board members made investments. The online clothing giant said non-executive director Jorgen Lindemann bought 57,392 shares at 854.26p each, spending a total of £490,276.88.

Fellow non-exec Patrick Kennedy purchased 30,000 shares at 809.65p, for a total of £242.895.01, while chair Ian Dyson spent £49,655.40 on 6,000 shares at 827.59p apiece.

Following the transactions, the company said Dyson's shareholding now totalled 15,205 shares, while Lindemann had 62,052 and Kennedy 53,000.

All three purchases were made on Thursday, as the company's shares tumbled following a disappointing trading update.

Elsewhere, GB Group disclosed purchases made by two of its directors, worth over £40k each.

The firm said chairman David Rasche bought 11,940 shares, and chief financial officer David Ward picked up 10,000 shares.

Both directors paid 415p apiece, meaning Rasche spent £49,551, and Ward's transaction totalled £41,500.

Following the purchases, the chairman held a total of 743,476 shares, representing a holding of 0.3%, while the CFO's holding totalled 34,000 shares, or 0.0135% of its issued capital.

The purchases were made after GB Group reported a strong set of preliminary results on Thursday morning, with revenue rising 11.4% year-on-year.
