(Sharecast News) - Angus Energy revealed on Wednesday that chief executive Richard Herbert had acquired 5.0m ordinary shares in the AIM-listed onshore oil and gas development firm.
Herbert, who has spent over 42 years in the upstream oil and gas business, purchased the shares on Tuesday at an average price of 0.50p each, for a total value of £25,000.
Following the transaction, Herbert holds 8,3m ordinary Angus shares, representing approximately 0.02% of the company's issued share capital.
As of 1615 BST, Angus shares were down 2.53% at 0.46p.
