Director dealings: Social Housing chair invests, Costain CFO associate sells share
(Sharecast News) - Among the director dealings disclosed to the market in London on Monday involved Social Housing REIT, whose chair Jonathan Short and a person closely associated with Benedict Green bought shares in the company, while Costain reported a share sale by a person closely associated with finance chief Helen Willis. Social Housing REIT said Short, its independent non-executive chair, bought 310,345 ordinary shares on 17 June at 72.95p each.
The transaction, carried out on the London Stock Exchange, was worth about £226,397.
The company also said Passaic Services Limited, a person closely associated with Benedict Green, a PDMR and director of the investment manager, bought 142,000 shares at 73p each, for a total of £103,660.
Following the acquisitions, Short held 310,345 shares, representing 0.08% of Social Housing REIT's issued share capital.
Benedict Green and Passaic Services together held 2,101,108 shares, representing 0.53%.
Separately, Costain said Colin Keane, a person closely associated with chief financial officer Helen Willis, sold 344,645 ordinary shares on 16 June at 200.5p each.
The sale, carried out on the London Stock Exchange, was worth about £690,913.
Costain said Willis maintained an interest over 1,007,659 shares after the transaction, representing 437% of salary, compared with the company's shareholding guideline of 200%.
